Learning about Eid

For this blog post I am posting about our learning about Eid and Ramdan. Each year musilm familys celbrate Ramdan, Ramdan is a holy month where they go more often to the mosques to pray and dont eat from 5 am to 5 pm.  Eid is at the end of the month where they stop fasting and celbrate the month of Ramdanthey celbrate by spending time with their faimlys and eat food. I made a kahoot about Ramdan and Eid.
We also made laterns to hang in our class.

Its 2019, this is my first blogpost of the year. This year for my first blogpost is about ANZAC. The task was called walk with an ANZAC. We got a peace each, and that peace had a story behind it.  I got a peace of string I din't even know what it was untill I did some research and it was a feild telphone wire they used it for the violin string.

Different classy for a day

Yesterday was a weird day of craziness as we were in different class for one day because athletics was on and there were like only five people in my class. That was like the smallest class ever so that's why we were split in to different class's.

I was in room 8 with Miss Huys. It was fun because we had a visitor to the school, Miss Huys' friend from China. She is a teacher in China and one fact is that she can speak 7 languages! WHAT? That's so cool. We asked her to count to ten and all the langues she can speak my favorite she could speak was German, French and Japanese.

She lives in the 4th biggest city in China. The city she lives in is cold  and yesterday it was 2 degrees that is so cold. She said she was glad to be here in New Zealand.

She has been friends with miss Huys for 14 years and a half. They met at high school and were friends since.

Retelling the story

Today we watched this sad video of a dog and its owner. It was cruel at first until it was nice and happy.

Here I was in this dark hole or smelly box I was excited for what was going to

happen.

When I was finally put down I heard sounds from somewhere suddenly it

stopped and then  the top of the box opened I saw a light and in that light there

stood something bigger than me. He picked me up me joyfully until he saw that

I had one leg missing he threw me onto the floor, I was like what is it?. I came

up to him again this time he kicked, I felt sad and hurt until I saw a red ball under

the table and ran to it but I had one leg so I crashed into everything on the way

there but when I finally when I got there I got the ball and took it. The huge man,

and put it in front of his shoe he saw it and kick the ball angrily and turned

around and played his video game. The ball went into the box I came in

he saw me and started laughing at me but then turned again and played

his video game. When he saw me the second time he stopped playing his video

game and got the ball and stood up when he did he had the same problem one

leg gone then we went outside to play with him and the ball I was a happy after.
