Different classy for a day

Yesterday was a weird day of craziness as we were in different class for one day because athletics was on and there were like only five people in my class. That was like the smallest class ever so that's why we were split in to different class's.

I was in room 8 with Miss Huys. It was fun because we had a visitor to the school, Miss Huys' friend from China. She is a teacher in China and one fact is that she can speak 7 languages! WHAT? That's so cool. We asked her to count to ten and all the langues she can speak my favorite she could speak was German, French and Japanese.

She lives in the 4th biggest city in China. The city she lives in is cold  and yesterday it was 2 degrees that is so cold. She said she was glad to be here in New Zealand.

She has been friends with miss Huys for 14 years and a half. They met at high school and were friends since.

Retelling the story

Today we watched this sad video of a dog and its owner. It was cruel at first until it was nice and happy.

Here I was in this dark hole or smelly box I was excited for what was going to

happen.

When I was finally put down I heard sounds from somewhere suddenly it

stopped and then  the top of the box opened I saw a light and in that light there

stood something bigger than me. He picked me up me joyfully until he saw that

I had one leg missing he threw me onto the floor, I was like what is it?. I came

up to him again this time he kicked, I felt sad and hurt until I saw a red ball under

the table and ran to it but I had one leg so I crashed into everything on the way

there but when I finally when I got there I got the ball and took it. The huge man,

and put it in front of his shoe he saw it and kick the ball angrily and turned

around and played his video game. The ball went into the box I came in

he saw me and started laughing at me but then turned again and played

his video game. When he saw me the second time he stopped playing his video

game and got the ball and stood up when he did he had the same problem one

leg gone then we went outside to play with him and the ball I was a happy after.

Today we we were reading our class novel there's a boy in the girls bathroom by Louis Sachar. When we were nearly finished our novel our teacher made us do this blog post.
I think that when Bradly goes to the birthday party everything going to be fine and the girls will like him and invite him to everything. I think Carla mite still keep her job but not lose her job. I guess that Bradly Jeff become friends then after they will not be friends.

Prenstions

Yesterday we had a task to make a presentation for our group author Roald Dahl. The reason we did it was to research about our author. In my group was Mandita, Sariah, Mansour and Rogue. In my opinion it was awesome because we still had fun making the poster and saying it in front of my whole class. Our total score was 476 and our average score was 19/25.

We were at the bottom of the leader boord with a another team. Next time if we do it again we should make our poster bigger and more in format and colorful. My group was still happy about the total average score and the score. I was happy as well but just next time for us to step our game up.

Whatś in the news this week?

Today we had a reading task the task was for us to find a article from kiwi kids news. The news had to be between 23rd of October and the 30th of October .The article I read was the game on Saturday at Eden park, Auckland vs Canterbury. The first half was not nice at all the second half was just amaze  meant, Auckland catch up to Canterbury it was a miracle. after the 80 minutes the Auckland won the game and had the Mitre 10 cup.

the news was : Pretty happy
New word I learnt: Domestic, Provincial
A fact I found out is that this is the first time they have won title since 2007.
It was interesting to read.

Our little show

Welcome back to my blog I hope you have had a awesome week bloggers and guess what day it is Friday, The week ends are tomorrow so this going to my last blog post for this week.
Today I had great fun with my, we did a play for the class there were three groups. The meaning the plays were for us to know the stage directions and the features of a play and a script for like a movie. The aim was us to know stage directions because we a re making a movie of our class novel there's a boy in the girs bath room. In my group there was Simon, Mose, Zion, Lucas and Nathaniel. In my opinion, I thought it went well but still need some practice on the acting and speaking.

Explain what is in in the photo

It's been awhile since I have blogged on my blog  because of the holidays, I had a challenge today to  selected a photo and and explain what we were doing in it but the challenge was there had  to be at least 150 words or as close to 150.

In the photo my group is explaining were these shoes came from and who they belong to, on the right is Nathaniel and on left is Zion. Best mates let's get back to the chase so we got into groups of five, after we got a photo of someone with A pair shoes. My group thought that the pair of shoes belonged to a poor person, turned out that it belong to johnny Depp. It was his first  shoes ever and it remind him of his dream and to never quit chasing it. I was in shock that it was Johnny Depp's shoes.  ..

Happy Tongan language week, I hope you are having a fun time with Tongan language week today I just want to share my work with you bloggers. Today we had Miss Butler for writing we had her last week, her job is to help us with our punction and more but today we made a poem about our street.

NEW lego car

Today I bought a new things from West field St Lukes I bought new shoes and and the best thing I got was me getting new lego for me and my little brother. The car is small but it was long before we finshed buliding the car  when I finshed buliding the car looked like a real life car but we had lots of spare parts of the car so we put it with the other lego.

TWO nouns WHICH ONE

We made a drawing or a slide for common nouns and proper nouns. I never thought that there was proper and common nouns. I first din't know the meaning of  both of the nouns. I only know that there was one noun not two.  back guys to day I would like to introduce you guys to my friends, Their names are Nathaniel,Simon, Lucas,Raymond,Andrew,Ina,Mose,Zion and more I have so much friends. Me and my friends love to play rugby at lunch time if not soccer or basket ball but we can not play rugby with out adult supervision so we play touch its like rugby but you can not tackle you have to touch them you can play it in league why or union it is your choice. Te Reo Maori

Today we were doing Te Reo Maori with our Maori Teacher Papa Jarrod, he has been our Maori teacher from the begging of 2018 we have loved him being our Maori teacher. Every class has Papa Jarrod on Thursday. He also teaches us our Maori songs he improve our under standing of Maori and also give us new words, our whole school has loved him being with us.

Where the wild things are (Flipgrid)

Today I was reading the story (Where the wild things are) Today our teacher said to us we had to record our selves saying the story but not reading like a robot I MEAN DO NOT READ LIKE A ROBOT because we did it for our production, we used flip grid if you don't know what flip grid is a sight were you record your self reading some thing so we din't have to use screen castify, the thing like about flip grid is that if you don't know what you are saying you can write it on the side of your screen and when you finish you can dictate your face after you take a photo of your self you can put hats on your head and my personally favorite is the flip grid hat the hat has flip grid on front of it.

Bad habits

Kia ora bloggers And today I will be talking about my bad habit.But if you do not know what a bad habit is it mean when you have got something that you can not stop doing like picking your nose or something. And my bad habit is sleeping in because when I go to sleep I usually wake up at 3.00 clock in the morning and I Hi Bloggers Today I want people to know my bad habit, bad habits is something you do that is nonstop you get told to stop almost all the time but you can not stop ,it can be disgusting or not disgusting. Bad habits can come in different ways some people bite their finger nail and some people don’t wash their hands when they go to the toilet. For some people, their bad habit is to stay on their device all day. My bad habit is gaming all day, I am so addicted to these games: Fortnite, Call of duty WW2 Black ops and Gta 5. It is so bad that I play it until 2 o'clock in the morning and even sometimes 5 o'clock in the morning which is not good it can hurt your eyes. It is also not good for your brain as if you don’t sleep your brain won’t work properly. When I look at the tv to long my forehead turns red and goes really hot and then when I finish playing I get a headache. That is my bad habit I am trying to stop playing too many video games. I know video games can be addictive so if you have ever had the same problem tell me how have you got to quit it and if you have, leave a comment to tell me how you have got rid of it.

Last day of Term

Hi guys its the last day of term for us next term is term 3, to day I our class are in mufti because a class mate chose the whole class can wear mufti ,not our school uniform. We are also going to the flying fox park just a walk away and I can also take my chrome book home for the holidays for  me to blog to you guys what I am doing for my holiday.

Rugby

Hi guys

At May Road War Memorial park there was a huge field that went on for miles, there were 3 coaches. We did rippa rugby skills first then we moved into a game we had beat centuries they had 1 point to 20 points. After our game we had some food to get our energy back up. After having some food  we were called back to the field to do tackle, we were told to show our mouth guards for our safe of playing tackle. Our skill class was how would lay down with the ball, then we moved to tackling, we lined up and were told to run and tackle the tackling bag but before we did that we were told the basics of tackling. When we finished talking we got read to run and tackle the tackling bag, after tackling and tackling the whistle blow and it was time to move on to the next class. The next class was the gateway when you get tackled the smaller the gateway the harder it gets for the other team because they have run throw the gateway if not the will get a penalty
from the rife.At the end I had enjoyed the time at the park I thought that will have a lone time for our game but I still love it.

Ferry bread

Last week for culture day our food was ferry bread we din't have anything for the aboriginal so we decide to make ferry bread.We got into 5 groups and the thing that was on the table was butter and bread and colorful sprinkles.When it was my turn to spread my butter I gentle cut a bit of butter and put it on bread seconds later..... When I finished putting the butter on my bread I got the sprinkles and gently shake the bottle I saw yellow, white, green and red dots come out of the bottle stick to the bread.

Aboriginal inspired artwork

welcome back we did some art work last week for our culture day assembly it was aboriginal art we started painting a white canvas to black then we copied our design on the canvas with pastel and sketching pencil. The culture assembly came we got our art work and stood in our place let the school see our work. On Monday we did a evaluation on our art.

Vist to lynfield college

 On Friday 22 June We got to school and did our soda task and when the bell ad ruing we were read to go on the trip, we did our roll and then lined up outside our class and walked to the school courts were all the other class were. We sat there wile the our class got up and went with their bud class our bud class was room 1.We got with our bud class and walked to the bus there was 3 buses, we went in the last bus the first bus room 9 and room 2, room 8 sat  with room 7. When we got lynnfield college we got out of our seats and then I walk behind the kids in front of me, when we got outside of the bus we said thank you to the bus driver and listened to our teachers.Afterwards we walked down the driveway of lynnfield collage, it was a view from the driveway to their field their field was so big that our school could of fit in there,we kept walking until we stop at near a big marae.We got in to a position. Then lynnfield collage started sing.

Titanic

Welcome back to my blog today I will be posting my work of titanic and what I did with  my learning.
2 days ago in our class my  teacher said we will be learning about titanic I was so happy  because I know so much about titanic and I love the movie titanic as well.We were told to do some reading about titanic and to two videos to find some facts for our animation.When we had finished we were told to make some thing that would had told the story so our teacher said to make animation the would have sound,the full story and use telling the story. How big is our school?

Welcome back today. Last week my class went outside  to measure the perimeter of our school. It all started in different places some people started at the the front gate some people started at the corner of the school.We started at the back of room 7 and went around the school.We were in groups of 5.

We were going for a while.10 minutes later we had our score we had to go throw wet grass and mud places and narrow paths. We FINALLY got the it was 445 meters we were so happy that we finally got the perimeter after all the work we did on it.
